What should you do in the second trimester?

The morning sickness has hopefully gone away, you can finally tell your family and friends- you are entering the GLORIOUS second trimester! There is so much to do to prepare for baby- what really is important. Here are four things to do this trimester:

  1. Take a Birth Class- this is a WONDERFUL time to take a birth class. You aren’t necessarily in crunch time, but really starting to think through what birth will look like for you- take our comprehensive class to really set yourself up for the birth you desire. You will not be disappointed with a Birth Boot Camp Class!

  2. Get started on the registry- this is a great time to start building that registry. Ask friends and family what they loved and couldn’t live without in their days of newborn land.

  3. Start thinking through postpartum support- will you hire a postpartum doula, do meal deliveries, use meal train? All of these ways set yourself up to thrive in the fourth trimester of baby.

  4. Get out a move- this is an awesome time to really start training for birth. We don’t just “arrive” at the birth we want- we have to train for it; and part of that is staying physically active. Even just daily walking is a great way to keep your body healthy and ready for baby!
